The art work is part of a new series of paintings inspired by Constantin Brancusi's sculptures. This one is my second work inspired by the sculpture "Faces", portrait of a man and woman.
I admire very much C.Brancusi (1876-1957). He was a Romanian sculptor, painter and photographer who made his career in France. Considered a pioneer of modernism, one of the most influential sculptors of the 20th-century, Brancusi is called the patriarch of modern sculpture.
